Mario Martin is a landscape designer with over 7 years of professional design and management experience for both public and private projects along the west coast. Mario has cultivated his love for plants since childhood, starting in his own garden and working at local nurseries, interning at the National Tropical Botanical Garden, and even managing a seed testing laboratory before going on to earn Masters degrees in both Horticulture and Landscape Architecture from Washington State University. Drawn to the Mediterranean climate, Mario consulted at California–based landscape contracting companies. Mario also work at California-based Landscape Architecture firms, most recently at Bennitt Design Group. Returning to the Pacific Northwest where he studied, Mario joined Shapiro Didway in 2019 as a designer.
