SD led the Visual Recourse Analysis analyzing the visual impacts associated with the placement of Intelligent Sign locations on US Highway 26 & Oregon High 35 within the National Scenic byway located of Mount Hood. Visual Resources Services includes project management; meetings attendance; site analysis; Visual Resource Report and visual resource analysis; 3D Simulation Modeling, creating section drawings, and participating and facilitating a collaborative work session. Technical georeferenced photographic simulations were used to show initial design and locations of the proposed signage and to show visual mitigation measures applied to preserve the environmental, cultural, and visual quality objectives set within the Mount Hood National Forest Plan.
