REACH CDC The Mary Ann

Abstract

The Mary Ann is an affordable housing collaboration funded by the regional affordable housing bond program, with REACH CDC and the City of Beaverton located in Beaverton’s Old Town. Our team was tasked with designing inclusive outdoor spaces to meet the needs of working families in Downtown Beaverton, as well as meeting landscape requirements to obtain Earth Advantage certification. SD designed the building’s Ecoroof and interior courtyard, offering a flexible play area for children and gathering space for residents.
