Carl is a landscape designer with 9 years of experience designing and building landscapes in the Pacific Northwest. Carl graduated from the University of Oregon in 2008 with a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture, and since has worked for design/build firms in the Willamette Valley. Carl is also a LEED Green Associate, and is passionate about bringing sustainable design elements into new projects. Over the course of his career, Carl has had a wide range of experiences that have shaped his understanding of landscape identity. Some of the most unique include establishing a vineyard in the Umpqua Valley, designing trail enhancements at Silver Falls State Park, and two months studying Japanese gardens while living at Daishen-in Temple in Kyoto.
